A family press, generations deep in Bahraich
Balark Press is a family-run printing press opposite Panchayati Mandir, near Bank of Maharashtra, Chawni Bazar, in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The family confirms a printing heritage of more than 100 years: craft, machines and customer relationships handed down through generations.
Our Story & Work
The story so far
For over a century, this family has printed for Bahraich’s schools, clinics, shops and institutions. The press you deal with today is run by the same family, with the same insistence on careful proofing and honest timelines.
A fuller account, including the founders’ names, dates, photographs and archival material, will be published here once the family has reviewed and approved it. Until then, this page carries only what has been confirmed.
What has not changed: most work is still produced in-house, customers still approve their artwork before printing, and many of the institutions we print for have returned for decades.
